Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of the most successful and popular comedians. Bea has been featured on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and comedian from Ireland. Bea's professional career started in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in small part in Irish and British television shows beginning in 2009. The year 2012 saw her begin to regularly appear on sitcoms and sketch shows. In the wake of her success at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was scheduled for a panel shows, and is currently regularly appearing on. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. She was the only woman to be awarded So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. She uses the surnamed Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian the equine vet who committed suicide after Bea reached the age of three, was also an individual who committed suicide. Bea was informed of his death at 13 years old. In 2017 she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's entire family. Then, she chose to adopt her stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher jockey trainer and former professional jockey. The family was obsessed with horse racing and race events. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However she realized very early that the racing industry was not the best fit for her.
