Aisling Bea
Aisling was born on March 16, 1984, from Kildare Ireland. She is one of the most successful and popular comedians. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress, and comedian from Ireland. Bea's journey began in 2011 as a comedy performer after appearing in small role in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. She was already regularly being featured on sketch comedy programs and sitcoms. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she got booked on various panels for the show where she is now a regular. She was a team captain for the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is a regular contestant in its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan, she has one sister named Sinead. She was the only woman to ever receive the You Think You're Funny award in 2012. Bea was awarded the award in honor of her father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on March 16, 1984, from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian committed suicide at the age of three. He was a veterinarian for horses. Bea wasn't told the facts about how he passed away until she turned 13. In 2017, Bea composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and chose to adopt her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher jockey trainer, and a former professional jockey. The family was obsessed with horse racing and race events. In her youth Bea worked as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she had a clear idea from a very young time that she wasn't attracted to the race industry as a career, instead she was a performer.
