Aisling bea, who was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is among Ireland's most famous and wealthiest comedians. The comedian appeared alongside Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is an Irish comedy writer and actress. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011, having appeared in small parts on several Irish television series and British shows since the year 2009. In 2012, she was frequently being featured on sketch comedy programs as well as sitcoms. It was her first time appearing in panel shows following her win of an award for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. From 2016 to 2017 she was captain of the team of 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan, she has one sibling named Sinead. She was the second woman ever to be awarded the So you think you're Funny Award in 2012. Bea is her maiden name in memory of her dead father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on 16 March 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet who took his own life when Bea turned three, was a victim of suicide. She learned of his passing at 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea as a tribute to her father. She also she wrote a piece for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's suicide experience. Bea (n e Moloney) and their younger brother Sinead was fostered by Helen an educator and jockey trainer who had been professionally jockey. They were obsessed with racing and horses. Bea began her work as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry was not the best fit for her.
