Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is one of Ireland's richest and most famous comedians. Bea has been featured on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly recognized by her stage name Aisling Bea (born on the 16th of March, 1984), is an Irish actor and comedian. Bea's career began in 2011 as a comedy performer after appearing in small parts as a comedian in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. Bea began performing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms in the year 2012. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she got booked on various panels for the show, which she's now regularly appearing on. She was the Captain of 8 Out of 10 Cats from 2016-2017. 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was regularly a contestant on the spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has her younger sister Sinead. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh Olsen was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. The father of her Brian was an equine veterinarian who took himself when Bea was just three years old however she was never told the cause of his death until she turned 13. In 2017, Bea published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and changed her stage name to Bea to honor him. Bea and her sister Sinead were raised in the home of Helen Moloney (nee Moloney) as a former jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. The family was obsessed with racing and horses. In her youth Bea employed as tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she was not drawn to racing as a career and instead wanted to perform.
