Aisling was born March 16 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of the wealthiest and most popular comedians. Bea has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as her stage title Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is a popular Irish comic and actress. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011, having appeared as a guest on a variety of Irish television shows and British series from the year 2009. The year 2012 saw her regularly appearing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. When she won an award in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began getting booked on a regular basis for various panel shows where she is now an established fixture. In 2016, and in 2017, she was the team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. In addition, she's participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has her younger sister Sinead. She was the only woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You're Funny Award in 2012. Her surname is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Their father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who took himself when Bea was a toddler although she was not informed the cause of his death until she was thirteen. In honor of her father, she took the stage-name Bea and in 2017, was the author of an article about suicides that affected her family to The Guardian. Bea and her sister Sinead were born under the guidance of Helen Moloney (nee Moloney) who was a jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Their family was obsessed with race meetings and horses. Bea began her work as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the race industry wasn't the right fit for her.
