Aisling Bea

Aisling Bea is one of the most renowned and rich Comedian who was born on the 16th of March 1984 at Kildare Ireland. She has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea, is an Irish comedy writer and actress. Bea started her stand-up career in 2011, after appearing in bits in several Irish television shows and British series from the year 2009. The comedian began to appear regularly in sitcoms and sketch comedy in 2012. In the wake of her success during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for various panel shows where she's regularly appearing on. From 2016 to 2017 she served as a captain in the show 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. The second woman to ever receive the you think you're Funny award in 2012. Bea was presented with the award in honor of her father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on 16 March 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet who committed suicide after Bea became the victim of suicide. She learned of his passing at the age of thirteen. In 2017 she wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and changed her stage name to Bea in remembrance of him. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were fostered by their mom Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher jockey trainer as well as a professional jockey. The family was obsessed with races and horses. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the racing industry wasn't the right fit for her.
