Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz' father was an editor and writer along with Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's father was from the Jewish family. Ryder thinks she's Jewish. The actress is the younger sister of Uria as well as half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder's parents relocated her and her siblings in Mendocino County California when Ryder reached seven. The town didn't even have electricity. Ryder read a lot due to the absence of television. Ryder began taking classes in acting at the American Conservatory Theatre when she turned 12 years old. Lucas was let go in 1986 and Ryder, then barely 15 years old, landed the role of a leading actress. Ryder faced bullying in high school. Her hope was that her acting career would end this. But it wasn't to come to happen. Still, she pursued her dreams. Beetlejuice, a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first big breakthrough. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in several movies. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
